Former Fenech Adami aide, John Camilleri, passes away

The former private secretary to prime minister Eddie Fenech Adami, John Camilleri, has passed away.

John Camilleri spent 14 years serving Fenech Adami as his private secretary for ten years in his time as Opposition leader in the 1980s, and four years as prime minister up until 1992.

He was CEO of the Employment and Training Corporation between 1999 and 2005 when he took up a permanent job in Brussels as personal assistant to European Commissioner Joe Borg.
