Shootout during music video in New Orleans leaves 16 injured

16 people were injured during a shooting which broke out while group of people were participating in a music video.

The incident happened on Sunday in New Orleans when a group of some hundred people gathered for an impromptu music video. Police reports say two groups suddenly began firing at each other.

The first gunshots were heard from a block away and the attackers left the scene on foot, witness say.

10 of those injured had to be taken to hospital with an ambulance, while the rest, arrived at the hospital later.

The police are still looking for CCTV footage of the shootout.
