Juventus sign German international midfielder Sami Khedira on a free transfer from Real Madrid

German midfielder Sami Khedira will join Juventus on a free transfer from Real Madrid on 1 July. Khedira, 28, has agreed a four-year-contract with the Serie A winners and Champions League runners-up and will officially join the club on July 1.
Born in Stuggart, Khedira progressed through the youth sector of his local club before making his professional debut in a Bundesliga league match against Hertha Berlin on 1 October 2006. He joined Real Madrid in 2010, where he won the league, the Copa del Rey, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup.
Khedira also captained Germany’s under-21 side to victory in the 2009 European Championship and was part of Germany’s 2014 World-Cup winning squad.
