Man dies after getting stuck between cargo lift doors

A 48 year old man from Fgura died after getting stuck between the doors of a cargo lift at a food establishment in Triq it-Terħa, Ghaxaq on Saturday.

The police and ambulance were called to the scene but the man was certified as dead on arrival.

The police said that the incident occured at 23:30. Further investigations are ongoing and experts have been appointed to assist in a magisterial inquiry.
