An Australian woman was injured after she was allegedly beaten up by two Paceville bouncers “who showed no bouncers” in the early hours of this morning.

The victim, Michelle Sullivan, a 45-year-old woman residing in Swieqi, suffered several injuries after a bouncer punched her in the face and head. In comments to Nationalist news organ maltarightnow.com, the woman recounted that a bouncer at a club outside Coconut Club in Triq il-Wilga, Paceville, started swing a punch at her friend.

The woman said that upon seeing this, she grabbed the bouncer and tried to restrain him, only for this bouncer to assault her. During the assault, the woman is said to have suffered severe bruising and a black eye. Sullivan also suffered injuries to her head after she received several blows and kicks to her head.

Moreover, the woman also said that one of the assailants ripped some her hair out, and that the assault only stopped thanks to the police's intervention.

Sullivan's friend, meanwhile, also suffered injuries when she was also allegedly assaulted by the security guards.

In August, two bouncers were charged with assaulting and injuring two French men and two Scottish men during an altercation at Havana  Club in Paceville, while on Saturday a security guard suffered slight injuries after being stabbed in a club in Paceville.
