Divers find body of man off Sikka l-Bajda

The Police have been alerted to the discovery of a body at the bottom of the sea off the coast of Mellieha.
The discovery was made by a group of Maltese divers who were diving off the Sikka l-Bajda and spotted the corpse. As they got closer to the body of a man, believed to be from West Africa, the divers also discovered an identity card.
The man was 26 years old.
The group of divers immediately alerted the authorities.
