€100 stolen during Sliema hold-up

At around 8:30pm, an armed and hooded robber entered the establishment in Manwel Dimech Street and demanded money.

About €100 were stolen during a hold-up from a Sliema food outlet yesterday.

At around 8:30pm, an armed and hooded robber entered the establishment in Manwel Dimech Street and demanded money. Two men were inside. 

No one was injured in the incident and investigations are ongoing.

The incident took place around two hours after €4,000 were stolen from an insurance outlet in Pieta by an armed and masked man in a separate hold-up.
