58-year-old Gozitan has lost his life after falling a height of three storeys while carrying out works on a private residence

A 58-year-old man has lost his life after falling a height of three storeys while carrying out plastering work on a private residence in Imgarr Road, Xewkija.

The incident happened at around 11am.

The man was taken to the Gozo General Hospital where he was certified to be in critical condition. He unfortunately succumbed to the injuries sustained.

Police investigations are underway.
