Man suffers burns after his boat catches fire

A 53-year-old Tunisian man suffered grievous injuries after his boat caught fire while berthed at the Birgu Waterfront this afternoon. Police say that the man had been checking the boat’s engine when it suddenly caught fire.

The man, who lives in Birgu, was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment .
