Spaniard grievously injured during argument

A 34-year-old Spaniard was grievously injured this morning during an argument with another foreign national in St Julian’s.

The incident happened in Triq Santu Wistin at around 3.30am, when the Spaniard was involved in argument with another foreigner. The latter is said to have punched the Spaniard and run away.

The man was conveyed to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance, where it was later declared that he was suffering grievous injuries.

Police investigations are still underway.
