No injuries after car overturns in San Gwann

The driver of the car is reported to have lost control before hitting an other vehicle and overturning

A 41-year-old man from St Julian’s was lucky to suffer no injuries when his car overturned and ended on its roof after hitting another vehicle in San Gwann.

Police said they were informed that, at around 8.15pm on Saturday, a car had ended up on its roof in the San Gwann Industrial Estate.

Upon arriving on site, police learned that the driver of a Citroen C1 seemed to have lost control of the vehicle before hitting a Fiat Punto and overturning.

In the Punto were a couple from San Gwann, both 64 years old.

The woman was taken to hospital in an ambulance but she was certified to have suffered no injuries and was released immediately.

Both drivers were also unharmed.
