Pedestrian hit by cyclist in Sliema

The 70-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after he was hit by a cyclist

An elderly man was hospitalised earlier this morning, suffering from grievous injuries after he was hit by a bicycle.

The accident happened at around 9.30am in Triq Rudolf, Sliema.

The police said the cyclist was a man from Poland, residing in Sliema.

An ambulance was called on site which rushed the man to Mater Dei Hospital for medical treatment.
