Truck driver injured in Burmarrad accident

The driver of a truck was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital after he crashed his vehicle into a tree.

The accident happened this morning on Burmarrad Road, at around 11.15am.

A spokesperson for the police confirmed that members of the Civil Protection Department were called on site to help assist the man out of the truck. Paramedics were also present on site and the man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital.
