Woman grievously injured in traffic collision

A 32-year-old woman, residing in Qormi was grievously injured on Friday afternoon after a collision in Valletta Road, Imqabba, according to the police. The incident happened at roughly 2.30pm.

Police at the scene of the collision determined that a collision had taken place between a Hyundai Getz, which was being driven by the woman, and a Kia Ceres, driven by a 54-year-old Birkirkara resident.

An ambulance took the woman to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
