Man, 42, found in a pool of blood in Gzira

A magisterial inquiry has been appointed to investigate the circumstances which led to a man being found in a pool of blood at a Gzira apartment.

A spokesperson for the Police said that assistance was requested at around 3.30pm. Upon their arrival, the police found the man, 42, in a pool of blood. The assistance of the Civil Protection Department was requested to help bring down the man through the use of a tower ladder.

The man is in critical condition.

It is as yet unknown whether any third parties were involved. The man appears to have suffered injuries to his head.
