Teen grievously injured in Zabbar accident

A teenager suffered grievous injuries on Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle in Zabbar.

Police reported that they were called to the scene in Triq Wied il-Ghajn at around 7pm and discovered that a 15-year-old male from Zabbar had been hit by an Opel Adam.

The vehicle was being driven by a 48-year-old man from Zabbar.

An ambulance was called to transfer the teen to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are continuing.
