A 47-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash last night

A 47-year-old man from San Gwann was injured yesterday, in an accident which saw him lose control of his Yamaha motorcycle and crash into a wall.

The police were informed, at around 10:15pm last night, that there had been a traffic accident had taken place in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli in Msida.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where he was later certified to have been seriously injured.

Police investigations are ongoing.
