Man seriously injured after balcony stones collapse

A 34-year-old Italian man is being treated for his injuries after falling off a balcony

An Italian man sustained grievous injures this morning, after falling off a balcony in Swieqi.

According to police, the 34-year-old man was trying to enter his apartment via the balcony after being locked out. The stone slabs of the balcony collapsed under his weight and he fell, at 2:30am on Gejza Street.

He was taken to Mater Dei for treatment.
