Update | Parents appeal to the public for information on missing Russian teenage daughter

Police and parents are urging the public to pass on any information it might have on a 17-year-old Russian girl reported missing two days ago

Polina Rahman, 17, was last seen in Paceville wearing a red and white dress and black shoes. She is of an average built and has dark hair.

Her parents Nadezhda and Mizanur Rahman issued an appeal calling on anyone with information about their daughter to come forward.

“We are the parents of the missing 17-year old Russian national, Polina Rahman, appealing to you for any information about her,” they said.

Polina came to Malta on July 15th and went missing on July 17th. She was last seen in St Julian's on July 17th between 4am and 5am, wearing a red dress, flat black shoes and carrying a small black bag.

Polina is 1.68m high, of medium build, with dark skin, brown eyes and long black hair.

Any information about the teenager should be passed on to the police by calling 119 or reporting to a police station.

The parents can be contacted on 9990 1008 with any information and said a reward is guaranteed to persons providing the exact location of their daughter.

“We hope that your compassion and involvement will help bring our only daughter back.

Thank you in advance!” Polina’s parents said.
