Two men charged with stealing pistol

Giovanni Farrugia from Valletta, and Clive Agius from Floriana were charged with stealing various items, including a pistol from a residence in Msida, and responsible for criminal damage on private property.

Both were also charged with violating the terms of two separate bail sentences.

Farrugia, 48, pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him and was sentenced to three years probation and fined €500.

However, Agius, 27, pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him and was held under preventative arrest.
