Gozo was the topic of conversation for both parties yesterday. The PM, addressing a political event in Victoria, Gozo, yesterday, said that the region had already benefitted greatly from the government's work, with more jobs and economic activity being created. PN leader Simon Busuttil, addressing a press conference, said that if a decision to designate Gozo a region were to be taken, it would be a national one and not one the EU had to get involved in. He also said that Gozitans receive more EU funds than Maltese people do, a result of the PN government's work.
