In the Press: Electronic tagging can help save dementia sufferers' lives - criminologist

A criminologist has suggested the use of electronic tagging on persons who suffer from dementia, in order to monitor their location and find them quickly should they go missing. A growth in Malta's ageing population will see 60 to 70-year-olds forming 25% of the total population.

Despite receiving an email from a contractor refering to 'work for votes', PN secretary general Chris Said has insisted that there was no mention of abuse. PN leader Simon Busuttil said he had only been informed of the existence of the email in question by Said last week.
