Eight new members join the Electoral Commission

Eight new members of the Electoral Commission take their oaths of allegiance and office

Eight new electoral commissioners have joined the Electoral Commission. The eight members took their oath of allegiance to the Constitution and the oath of office today.

The Commissioners are Mario Callus, Noel Cutajar, Paul Sammut, Salvu Sant, Victor Scerri, Joseph Scicluna, Raymond Zammit and Joseph Zammit Maempel.

They have been appointed for three years, under the Chairmanship of the Chief Electoral Commissioner, Joseph Church. The Electoral Commission’s secretary is George Saliba.
