Prime Minister speaks of Malta’s economic growth during Global Citizenship Seminar

The Maltese economy was doing well and its growth was four times the Eurozone growth, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat told an audience for a Henley roadshow.

Speaking in Istanbul promoting Malta’s sale of passports for €650,000, Muscat said Malta would remain ambitious to achieve further results through innovation.

Muscat told his audience that Malta achieved a 5.2% economic growth, the biggest increase ever registered by the island.

Unemployment was at its lowest levels and the second lowest in the EU.

He said, that Malta was widening its international network and attracting talent through its citizenship-by-investment programme (IIP).
