A police raid on the offices of Identity Malta resulted in the arrest of a number of employees yesterday, as part of an investigation into the abusive issuance of residence permits.

The Nationalist party has called the arrest of individuals at Identity Malta proof of 'institutionalized corruption', which it says have infected several branches of government since the Labour party was elected.
