Economic policy department relocates to finance ministry
Finance minister Edward Scicluna welcomed the newly relocated workers and said that research carried out by the EPD would be integrated more efficiently, as part of the 2016 budget.
The Economic policy department has been relocated to the ministr of finance in Valletta as part of a restructuring process that aims to streamline and improve the division’s contribution to the ministry.
Finance minister Edward Scicluna welcomed the newly relocated workers and said that research carried out by the EPD would be integrated more efficiently, a measure outlined in the 2016 budget.
“From now until the next budget, the EPD will be evaluating financial policy in order to make positive changes where they are needed,” Scicluna said.
