Malta has the 4th fastest mobile internet in the world, according to survey

Malta is ranked as having the fourth fastest mobile internet speed, according to data published by Speedtest, which leveraged testing infrastructure with over 6,000 servers in more than 190 countries.

According to the Speedtest Global Index, Malta has jumped two spots, from sixth to fourth place since September 2017, with a download speed of 50.79Mbps and upload speed of 20.81Mbps.

With an impressive download speed of 59.40Mbps, Norway topped the index, closely followed by Iceland (58.35Mbps).

Where fixed broadband is concerned however, Malta did not even make the top ten, ranking as 32nd, with a download speed of  43.62Mbps. Singapore came in first, with a download speed of more than triple, with 148.62Mbps.
