A suicide bomber attacked Shiite worshippers in eastern Baghdad earlier today, during prayer time, killing at least 11 people, security and medical officials said.

The attack on a husseiniyah, a Shiite place of worship, also wounded 32 people, the officials said.

It comes three days after suspected Shiite militiamen gunned down 70 Sunni worshippers at a mosque northeast of the capital.
