Man injured in fall

A 50-year-old man suffered a broken leg after falling at a construction site in Marsascala.

From preliminary investigations carried out by the police, it seems that the man fell off a plank and landed on his feet.

The man was taken to hospital were he is being treated for his serious injuries, which however are not life threatening.
