Motorist suffers serious injuries in Marsaxlokk accident

A 35-year-old motorist from Marsaxlokk suffered life-threatening injuries following a traffic accident this morning, the police said.

The man lost control of the car and collided into a wall in Triq iz-Zejtun, Marsaxlokk. Civil Protection personnel and a medical team were called on site and the man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified as being in a critical condition.

Police investigations are underway.
