Paceville bouncers in close shave with Samurai sword-wielding louts

Police are investigating reports that a group of men tried to settle an argument in Paceville using samurai swords this morning.

Bystanders called the police this morning as four men, who after an argument with some nightclub bouncers, returned to have the last word - allegedly armed with the legendarily sharp blades.

The scuffle took place in St George's street in Paceville this morning at around 7am, between four men and an unspecified number of bouncers. Having been sent on their way by the security staff, the men returned half an hour later, bearing what onlookers told police were samurai swords.

However, the four men had fled by the time police arrived on the scene. No injures were reported.

No indication as to the nationality of the men has been released so far.
