19-year-old girl is in serious condition after she was hit by a car in Triq Ix-Xatt, Msida.

The girl, from Oman, was hit by a Hyundai i20 driven by a 68-year-old woman from Gzira at around 11:05 this morning.

She was taken to hospital where she is suffering from grevious injuries.
