Man seriously injured after 'large vehicle falls on him'

A 30-year old man suffered serious injuries after the large truck he was working fell on him, the police said.

The accident happened on Triq l-Industrija in Qormi at around 2pm.

The man, a Paola resident, was hospitalised after a medical team and members of the Civil Protection Unit helped get him out from under the vehicle.

Magistrate Astrid May Grima appointed several experts to assist her in the inquiry.

Police investigations are ongoing.
