Motorcyclist seriously injured in Gozo crash

A 35-year-old motorcyclist was severely injured during a collision with another vehicle on Thursday in Gozo. 

The incident occurred at 7:30pm in Triq l-Imġarr, Xewkija.

The police said an investigation found, that an impact had occurred between a Hyundai Accent that was being driven by a 45-year-old man from Xewkija and a motorcycle, that was being driven by a 35-year-old man also from Xewkija.

An ambulance took the victim to Gozo General Hospital for further treatment, where he was later certified to be suffering from severe injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.
