Government warned over bills issued by ARMS Ltd
The European Union has warned the Maltese Government over water and electricity bills issued to Europeans - who have a property in Malta - that the tariffs charged where higher than those of Maltese residents.

Sister newspaper Illum reveals how last January, the European Union sent a Pre-Infringement Document to the government in which it called for a number of clarifications.
The EU also asked government to provide the legal notice – if any exist – on how tariffs are regulated.
If it does not regularise itself, the EU will then open infringement proceedings against Malta.
