Park for free at Pembroke park & ride
Parking at the Pembroke Park and Ride during an evening out to Paceville with friends or family will not cost a cent during this festive period.
For those who make use of Arriva's special shuttle service between the Park and Ride and the entertainment mecca of Paceville, parking at the Pembroke Park and Ride will not cost a cent during this festive period.
Arriva is offering a direct shuttle service between the Pembroke Park and Ride facility and the centre of Paceville, every night until the 8 January 2012. The minibus service will be available between 1800hrs and 0400hrs, every day, with a voyage every 30 minutes. Moreover, the return ticket for the minibus costs €2.50 and is valid for the driver and up to 4 passengers. In other words, up to five people can use the service for the price of €2.50, if they drive to Pembroke Park and Ride in one car... and they will park for free.
"Parking in the Paceville area is always difficult, even more so during the festive season, when many groups choose the area for their nights out. Our special service during these nights is aimed at helping clients enjoy their nights out without all the hassle of looking for a parking spot and being stuck in traffic. The shuttle service between Pembroke and Paceville will be available all through the night and will cost only €2.50, including free parking in the Pembroke Park and Ride," said an Arriva spokesperson.
"Moreover, with an aim to limit the number of cars on our streets during the festive nights we would like to encourage more and more people to car pool and choose a designated driver who absteins from drinking this Christmas. In this spirit, our special shuttle service will not only be available to the driver but indeed, at the same price of €2.50, includes up to 4 passengers who travel in the same car along with the driver," the spokesperson said.
