Paul Pace elected Forum president

The Council of Forum Unions Maltin elected its former secretary-general Paul Pace as its new president.

Pace replaces John Bencini who resigned from the confederation's helm in January after participating in a Labour Party candidate's political activity.

The 11 unions making up the confederation of trade unions elected Paul Pace, the only candidate, unanimously.

Forum said that the vacant post of secretary-general would be filled in over the next few days.
