PN to hold General Council meeting

‘Jobs, Seriousness, Identity’ theme for PN council meeting

The Nationalist Party will be convening a general council meeting for its party councillors as part of its customary post-Budget configuration.

'Jobs, Seriousness, Identity' will be the theme for Friday's and Sunday's council meeting.

Secretary-general Chris Said said the PN was seeking to remain proactive on job creation, and attack the government's failings on meritocracy and transparency, citing "rampant" abuse of power over ministers' codes of ethics, asset declarations, and government appointments.

And falling in line with this week's approval of the Individual Investor Programme, Said said the General Council will be discussing 'identity'.
