Lufthansa Technik workers volunteer day’s work
The Prison Inmates Programme residence in Bahar ic-Caghaq was given a general uplift with the help of the assistance of the residents themselves

Volunteers from the Lufthansa Technik facilities and maintenance department
Workers from the Facilities & Maintenance Department at Lufthansa Technik Malta recently dedicated a day of voluntary work at the Prison Inmates Programme residence in Bahar ic-Caghaq.
A considerable amount of maintenance work, including plumbing and electrical installations, was carried out by a group of 26 employees assisted by all the residents in the house.
This resulted in an uplift of the residence and more comfort for the day-to-day residents who are already going through a tough period of rehabilitation.
The hot weather did not deter anyone from working hard and all concerned agreed that it was a very fulfilling and successful day and all are looking forward to having similar opportunities in the future.
