Drug find in Gozo leaves six arrested
Two men and four women were arrested in Gharb, Gozo this morning after police were informed that the public peace was being breached.
The men are aged between 29 and 21, and are residents of Hal-Ghazaq and Marsaxlokk respectively, whilst the women are aged between 19 and 31, and are residents of Birgu, Birkirkara, Gudja and Birzebbugia.
Police went to Triq tat-trux, Gharb at 2.30 am. While police were arriving outside the residence, someone from inside the building threw a plastic bag outside containing cocaine.
Inside the residence, police found suspicious items related to drug use as well as more cocaine and cannabis.
