Bondi found guilty by Broadcasting Authority once again
State TV presenter Lou Bondi is found guilty by Broadcasting Authority. The TV presenter has been accused by critics of being a government apologist and failing to host programmes on 'controversial' issues that could potentially embarrass the government
The Broadcasting Authority has found Lou Bondi, presenter of Bondiplus and a director of media company Where’s Everybody, guilty of imbalance in his treatment of the Opposition's views with regards to the subject of parliamentary honoraria.
This is not the first time Bondi, who prides himself of 'independence', attracts the rebuke of the BA over lack of impartiality. The authority said that impartiality demands that the presenter seek the views of all those involved in a controversy.
Renowned for his pro-government stance, Bondi's show enjoys the support of the politically appointed editorial board headed by Joe Pirotta and Natalino Fenech, the PBS head of news.
