5.6 magnitude earthquake hits Oklahoma

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake that hit Oklahoma was felt in Tenessee and shook a football stadium 50 miles away. Authorities have not reported any injuries so far.

Despite initial reports that no major damage occurred following a 5.6 quake which hit Oklahoma and could be felt as far as Tenessee, emergency management officials in Lincoln County reported significant damage.

The strongest quake hit at around 10:53pm on Saturday night.

The officials reported collapsing of roofs, damage to the Prague library, collapsing of air conditioning ducts and walls. Residents reported glass breaking and objects falling off the walls.

AP reports an emergency manager as saying that a highway in the region had crumbled in place where the strongest quake hit.
