Team Noel to represent Malta in Switzerland

Between the 13th and 14th of September Team Noel will represent Malta in Switzerland in a Martial Arts competition organized by the World Kickboxing Network (WKN).

Currently Master Noel Mercieca is training 12 athletes from Ying Yang Team Noel Kickboxing club that will compete in Kickboxing, Boxing and K1. The Maltese athletes are: Clayton Desira, Matthew Brown, Isaac Chetcuti, Joachin Mifsud Attard, Courtney Vella, Karl Demicoli, Aiden Azzopardi, Julian Mangion, Farren Borg, Borg Aiden Catania, Brent Spiteri, Brandon Spiteri.

This competition is known as "The World Martial Arts Games" where athletes from around the world will meet to compete in nine different disciplines. Among them are Boxing, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Grappling, Jiu Jitsu, Thai Boxing and K1.

In total there will be three categories for all the athletes to compete. These are the amatures under 16 years, those with more than three years experience and those who have a Black Belt in the respective discipline.
