Motorcyclist killed in tragic Gozo accident

A tragic road accident in Gozo has claimed the life of a 30 year old man from Sannat this afternoon.

The man lost his life when, for reasons as yet unknown, he lost control of his KTM 250EXC motorcycle and crashed into an electricity pole on Triq l-Imgarr, Xewkija at around 12:30. 

The police report that the man was rushed by ambulance to the Gozo General Hospital, but was certified dead shortly after.

Duty Magistrate Joanne Vella Cuschieri was informed and had appointed several experts to assist her in the enquiry. Police investigations are also ongoing.
