29 complaints of workplace race discrimination since 2010

The Department for Industrial and Employment Relations hasn't received a complaint about sex discrimination in the workplace since 2010

The Department for Industrial and Employment Relations received 29 complaints pertaining to racial discrimination since 2010, with nine of these complaints being filed last year alone.

Speaking in Parliament in response to a question by Opposition MP Charlo Bonnici, Civil Liberties Minister Helena Dalli added that the director received two complaints of discrimination based on their sexual orientation in the past six years, the most recent of which was in 2011.

The most recent complaint pertaining to sex discrimination was filed back in 2010.
