In the Press: Man in drug arrest commits suicide in police custody

Martin Fenech, a man arrested in connection with an 11-kilo drug haul died in police custody. Police commissioner Michael Cassar told a press conference that Fenech, 39, was found unconscious in his cell at the police HQ at 3am with one end of his bed sheet tied around his neck and the other end tied to the metal bars of a window.
