Għanja tal-Poplu 2010 postponed by a week to 4 December 2010
The organisers of the 35th edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu (GħtP) , which this year is being held in aid of the Richmond Foundation, have announced a special prize for the winning song of this year’s festival.

The author and composer of this year’s winning song of this year’s edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu would be given the opportunity to select a singer who would participate in an international song festival abroad, flights and lodging included.
The GħtP organisers explained that this participation was possible thanks to the World Association of Festivals and Artists (WAFA) International presided by Norman Hamilton.
The festival, which has been postponed by a week, would now be transmitted live on television from the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia on 4 December 2010.
