Blake appointed COO of Global Capital’s financial services division

Financial services’ and insurance group Global Capital plc has today announced that James Blake of Madliena has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its Financial Services’ Division with immediate effect.

He will be replacing Adrian Galea of Mosta, who until now held the post of COO.

A company announcement on the Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) early this afternoon explained that the role of the Chief Operating Officer was taking on “a wider mandate”.

In view of this, Blake would be primarily responsible for business processes and efficiencies, implementation of operational strategy and other internal support functions.

Blake was also a director of the company as well as director of GlobalCapital Funds SICAV plc.

In view of this, Global Capital has appointed Galea as Executive Head at the Office of the Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

In his new position, Galea would be primarily responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer in business development activities and new projects and in monitoring and keeping the performance of the company and its subsidiaries.

Galea is also director of Global Funds SICAV plc.
