Lightning strike causes fire in Zurrieq

Civil Protection Department called on site to control the fires from lightning strike in Zurrieq

A thunderbolt struck Wied iz-Zurrieq early this morning, causing some fires in the area l-Gherien.

The incident took place at 7:30 am.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Personnel from the Civil Protection Department was called on site to control the fires that resulted from the lightning bolt.
