Hotel evacuated after fire breaks out in store

Residents of the St Patrick's Hotel in Xlendi were yesterday evening evacuated from the hotel after fire broke out in a store inside the premises.

The fire broke out at around 8:15pm in a room, used as a store, besides the hotel reception. Hotel employees evacuated the residents and patrons within minutes.

Three fire crews were deployed by the Civil Protection Department and the fire was controlled within a relatively short time. No one was injured.
